WHY SHOULD CHANNEL 7 ADVERTISE MY PRODUCT!!!

My product that I am advertising and selling is smart phones! To me they are the most usable and complex phone system in the century of modern day. In many ways they prove to be better than just regular phones, but the problem is: TO sell you got to ADVERTISE! In order for the world to know my opinion and to persuade to buy this product, I am composing this letter to the channel 7 station in order to convince them to add this commercial.

PURPOSE: TO PERSUADE TO ADVERTISE SMART PHONES

   Dear faculty and organization of NBC,
 I am sending this letter on behalf of the company that makes smart phones. As you have seen, as the world grows more composite so does technology. There isn’t any one that hasn’t heard of texting, email or chatting. Communication is now fast and is in such high quality those years before we would have never thought that technology would reach this high standard. However a big percentage of this machinery usage comes from the utilization of cell phones alone. Therefore our company wants to supply the world with the better and we believe that each of our smart phones will make a better cause.

 With the all new smart phones you can pick what you want on your phone and when you want it. Whether you want touch screen or lots of apps or if you want a flip and slide phone, we will always have the best brand and what suits you. Unlike other phone companies we don’t have contracts to sign or hidden fees. We like to do things straight off with our company and place ourselves in the consumer's shoes. We also have free delivery or counter purchase where you buy your desired product there and our team will set you up and hand over the phone with a smile. Contrast to other companies, we have a guarantee warrant until your plan expires! We are ready to fix replace clean any product you might think is not proper or is in some reason disabled.

Besides the basic things we include some thing every hting wants on their phone. Wherever yougo and when you go with smart phones we have internert and live webcam chat! At 6 in the morning you couldbe chatting with your friend in austrlia! With the feeofa dollar a month you could save hundreds by just switching over to our plan.

  These are all the reasons smart phones can be better of than any regular phone. By advertising our product notonly will you help us but you will also benefit your channel and your veiwers.So please reply back with a positive outlook on our product.

What I learned from the collge/career unit!!

Although there are many things to remember for a college and job interview, I picked one aspect I would like to elaborate on.The interview itself. In class we learned about job interviews and the DO and DONTS stuff to say while being interviewed. For an example some DONTS are: you wont say I scored a GPA of 1.4 on a 4.0 GPA scale!! Or that one of my favorite activities is donating 1 gallon of blood!! Or Im allergic to cat!! You would most likely not get hired but would scare the interviewer. Some of the DO'S you might want to include are: your resume. We learned that the interviewer will most likely see your resume and question about, so be prepared for any questions!! Another technique is water. Suppose you are asked a question that you dont have an answer for. Take a sip of water and think. However dont gulp the whole bottle down! The last DO I think is important is your dress. Dont wear a casual shirt and jeans with Nikes it will give a bad impression to the interviewer and the people around you. Instead come early like a day before the interview and observe what others are wearing. Wear dress pants and shirt, make sure you smell and look good. That will give the impreesion that your ready for work! Do's and Donts are really important for an interview. If you have more questions just say them in your comments!

COLLEGE ESSAY: THE ROLE MY FATHER PLAYS IN MY LIFE

 Of all the people that have been in my life or have been part it, one character stands out as a person I would hope to be like one day. He is my father. My father appeals to me because he exemplifies what I endeavor for. He is an influential person to me, who motivates me and never feared to point out my flaws or have a pessimistic view of what I do.

Although there are many people I know that encouraging and helpful, I feel my father rather symbolizes, strength, wisdom, and hope. These priciples will help set the foundation of a industrious and helpful life. As a young person, I feel I need to signify these things for the adult world soon to enter.

I am sure that my father had once and still does look up to one person as his model. Some one who had a life full of success and were productive. Even though he might not be capable to this position because he for some reasons he lacks those abilities, he has often wished that one day his own daughter will portray these qualities and live up his name. Through him I feel like I leared the actual value of life and desire to fulfill his dream to promote me and others. Even though I have not mastered these skills, necessary to succeed I feel this college from all others faciliate me toward the base of a new successfull life that will benefit me and will make me proud to be my fathers daughter!

Results for the use of Technology Advancements

Technology has many purposes. It is something you can find in almost every household. Laptops, computers, desktops, Macs, i phone, smart phone, Ipad are typed of  advanced technology. During recent years mnay new advanced inventions have come out , for example: High speed running laptops, being able to have a GPS on a phone, or being able to watch a movie on a ipod. These are all examples of todays technology. These gadgets can be very helpful and fun to just play with! But with these advantages come disadvantages too. Soon people will become dependent on a phone or cant go anywhere without a laptop or come home and straight take their phone and text. These modern invention can cause a plethora of problems.

Technology should be used but for a good point and should be used from a positive view. You can use it for knowlege or as a resource too. They can be used for education as demonstrated in schools and homes. They can be used for homework. Look at todays technology as a benefit.

Therefore iI present you the negatives for technology but how you can still use them for a good purpose. What do you think should technology used for?

Welcome to Herbert Hoover Mrs.Carroll, I hope you enjoy your stay here and find this school a great place for educational learning. While your here I want to introduce myself as a student and wish you a great time learing!

My name is Hadia Malik, Im a rocket and have originally came from Lincoln Elementry School. One of my favorite things to do is: ART!! Drawing, painting, coloring and sketching are one of my past- time hobbies. I even keep my own sketch book so I can capture every thing by hand, so later I can look back and marvel at the things I might not remember. As a new comer to middle school there are many things I like and dislike. Switching classes are one things that I approve in this grade. Every day you get to meet new people and study and negoitiate with. Also you get a new scieence teacher every semester. That way we learn another topic and have fun with another teacher! However with the things I like are some of the things I dont approve. Passing time is one of them. I feel that four minutes are not enough for a student to rush to their locker, grab their books, and head to their next class. What if your locker is flipped or your class is upsatirs? My favorite classes right now are Math and English becuase of the structure and skills that are needed for these subjects. You cant argue with math 2+2 will always equal four! English is great because you get to imporve your grammar and vocab skills. And for those who like reading like myself have a variety of books to pick! I am good at reading and writing for I can persuade and socializa with others. But am not good at keeping track of things. Such as: I sometimes forget I had a assingment to do or forgot to write a home work in my planner.

Because you are a student teacher and are observing in my english class, I will be naming a few things we do from our daily routine and the structure we build on. Somethines when we walk into class Mrs Patalano isnt there. But her directions are on the board. We complete a grammar which consists of a word, and grammar for us to keep revising. That is one thing that is always a part of our routine. There are many things in Mrs. Patalano class that are fun and educational at the same time. The SmartBoard is one example. Students can write, drag and click on the board. We make word using prefixes, suffixes and roots. Another thing students find amusing are the clickers! They are little devices hooked up with the computer so when the questions apear on the SmartBoard we can either text in the answer or submit the answer. Some activities I dont like to do are copying. Sometimes we have to "mindlessly copy" stuff from paper to another which is quite frustrating sometimes. This is every thing from my prespective. So I hope you enjoy your temporary stay here and good luck with your future goals!!!

Career Goals

   I was always told that it is never too early to plan out your educational carrer for your life. As a young girl, I would never settle for one particular job or field to study or work in. However, going to the doctor's office helped change my mind. Watching him use different tools and talk assuringly to the patient made me like that career more and more. However when I attended Elementry school and Middle school I learned they are more jobs in the mediacl field. Soon it became my dream to successfully become a well educated M.D in anesthesia. Visits to the hospitals and to the doctors were becoming some what a treat to me, by seeing all the equipment and even being dosed by anesthia helped understand that this was a good job for me. There are still many things that can be improved in this time, example: Hospitals can use more organization and people. Without it the results are people rushing around trying to find patients in need. However in the future when I become a doctor I will wish to organize everything so the prodcdure can progress smoothly. Hopefully by being a versatile person doctors can find more time for finding cures for dieases and to comfort the patients. I take special intrest in anesthesia, so will try to pursue my dream of being an anesthesiaologist. What I dont wish to do is too see blood and handling surgeries with hand. i will leave that to the surgeons.

  Word goes around that Princeton, Yale and Harvard are prestigious colleges becuase you have to have good and high scores for them to accept you. I wish to go to one of these colleges for 4 years or more to earn my doctorate and M.D. Since I want to work in Medical I might major in physics or the history of medicine depending how it is setup. I know at the end the test is what counts but im looking forward to that day because im already preparing. After college when i graduate with my M.D degree ( for that makes me qualified) I will hope to find a job that suits me and my outlook.

With good people I can train to be a wonderful doctor people need. With all that im caring understanding and earning for people and myself. Althought this is a few years away I know I can reach this goal and know im ready!!!

My New Years Resolution!

      The start of a new year is a great way to find self-needed improvements. This year my resolution I hope to fulfill is to stop staying up late at night and trying to get to bed early.  I often procrastinate and delay to sleep and often make detours. I instead stay up to watch TV and doing homework, which result in as few hours to sleep. For me to accomplish this goal I will have a set bed time that I must go to sleep by that time. I must have all work finished before that time limit. I’m sure if this happens I will have a more productive and healthier year.

Public Schools Better than Private Schools


About nine out of ten children ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade in America attend a public school. This is a large number of students that choose to go there, then the few who opt to go to a private school. However supporters from each school are debating what the differences between the schools are and which one would prove better for children. Each place however serves a noble purpose for education and learning but which one is more preferred and prominent.

According to a recent poll a hundred percent of students decided they would choose to go to a public school than rather go to a private school. Numerous schools seem to have more advantages than private schools which could show that sending children to a local school might show better results. It is been know that an average public school is twice as large as the average private schools. This will have a good affect for it allows a diverse group of students that offer the opportunity for young people to grow in understanding and acceptance of different races and cultures. This will enhance social and communicating skill of students. Another reason private school might not be the right choice because public schools offer programs, support and services to students with academic or health needs. Also there is more likely to be well equipped classes such as cooking or technology. This is another big benefit for attending a public school.

Education and studies must continue in the right place, which will enforce and prepare future students for challenges and expectations. The teachings of a public school will carry this role out and these benefits will accurately guide students to brighter futures,

Holiday Persuasive: The Angel vs The Star

           Christmas is an annual holiday and for many people, it's the time your family put up an annual tree and decor it with colorful tinfoil and family ornaments. Finally when the tree stands in the corner beautiful and full of Christmas Cheer, its time to put the Tree Topper.

          Some families put up a lovely angel while others top it off with a shining star. Hoever there other types of of symbols but these two are the most popular used. It is an important descion to decide what to use. The ornament will be then passed on in family generations.

     
        Using angels for toppers is a good way to demonstrate religous beliefs. Most people will remind themselves with the dolls that angel are watching us and are always are looking out for us. Its a symbolic way most Catholic people use as a connection when an angel told the sheperds of the birth of Jesus. Angels are also used for Christmas tree toppers to represent the angel of God that came down from heaven to bring tidings of Jesus' birth. It is often the symbol of the Christian god's message, peace, and love. Choosing a Christmas tree topper angel can remind your family that the reason for the season is Jesus' appearance on earth, and God's word and love.  This is why most people recommend this ornament for a topper.


   
          Christmas stars for the top of your tree come in a wide variety of styles and colors. Some are plastic, some metalThis is a widely used ornament because they represent the star in the East which is said to have hung over the manger in which Jesus was born. Also this was the source used by the Wise Men who were traveling to see baby Jesus. Many people also believed this is one of the reasons Christmas is celebrated. Having a star on top is a way to represent the message of God and the religon beliefs many families believe in.

  

          This debate has been going on for years and familes have not been able to decide which is proper. But no matter what you have as a topper, you will know the purpose of Christmas and will continue to lead years of Christmas Cheer. This year many households will be lit up with both and all will represent love and happiness. A good compromise could be an agel holding a star. This could be another form. Who knows?

 Once again, the holiday seasons come around this time of the year and with them come wishes and the meticulous work of making them come true. Being Santa Claus, you make the mornings of people across the world.Therefore, it is my earnest wish that you will make my morning best by presenting me an iPhone. This gift will be made good use of, and I believe that it is something I earned and deserve.

           Currently, I do not own a phone and without one, many problems occur. My parents don't know where I am and I cannot inform them. For safety reasons, without a cell phone, I wont be able to call for help or contact 911 for an emergency. On the other hand if did have this source, I would easily be in   touch with an adult and can call for help when needed. Regarding these reasons, it would be fun to talk to friends,and do other things with an iPhone.In addition this phone has many apps which makes it easier to handle.

            As you know, I believe I am mature will treat and use the phone wisely and carefully. I worked hard to earn something that will be a use to me and at the same time entertain me. With the iPhone I will increase my safety cautions know in I have something to depend on. At my age I believe I need something updated like the iPhone.

             I am aware that many people are now sending you letters with requests of their ideas of a gifts. I am grateful if you just read my letter and try to fulfill my wish. This holiday wish will be a benefit to me and others as well. Thank you for what you have given me even if you are not able to grant my wish.

Thanksgiving

Most stories of Thanksgiving history start with the harvest celebration of the pilgrims and the indians that took place in the autumn. To most people today, its about thinking what your grateful for and giving thanks to the things we take for granted. One of the most important part of this holiday is its traditons and customs.


Family Reunion and Feasting- Relatives and faily all sit around the table and together give their thanks in a grace to the Lord. Its also a time where everyone comes from different places to come together and celebrate.


Tradition of Turkey- Table across the country are set with delicous food waiting to be served with the main ; the TURKEY! Pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce are also food marks for this holiday.


Parades- These spirit lifting occasions are there for celebration and to lift the spirits and smiles of spectastors. This is another way Thanksgiving traditions are carried out.


Football Games- Watching NFL football during Thanksgiving is a popular tradition. Usually the two opponents playing are the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers .

What a Night!!

                     Making my way, along the houses I dragged my trick or treat bag with my friends. We were out Trick or Treating for Halloween. Houses were decorated with pumpkins grinning at us and artifical spider webs were tangled among the bushes. Other trick or treaters were ringing the doorbells too. I adjusted my witch hat as a gust of wind blew through the air. " Lets go there." I said to my friends, Namra, pointing at that house. Together we climbed the cement steps and rang the door bell. An old woman answered, "Trick or Treat!" we chimed. As several pieces dropped into our loot bags we smiled at each other. We had enough candy to last us a month! Lugging our bags behind us we trudged to the at the right. Then I got my first good look at it. The roof and porch was sagging giving it a potbellied look. Windows were cracked and the curtains were full of moth holes. Paint peeled of, it made a shiver run down my spine.

           Suddenly,I felt a nudge on my elbow. " What!" I whispered to my friend. Namra silently pointed at the door, " I dare you to go and ring the bell", she replied. All of a sudden the house seemed haunted and seemed like it was waiting to swallow me up. I shook my head. " No way am I going there!" I exclaimed. Namra taunted me. " Your a chicken!" " Am not!" I protested. She folded her arms " prove it." she said putting her self into the house firmly, not budging. I glanced at the house, I thought I saw something flutter behind the curtain. But, stupid as I am, I went. Clutching to my bag I slowly asceded the decaying steps. Dont be scared Hadia, its just a house, I told my self. With a trembling hand I raised to ring the bell, but before I could touch it, the door flew open.


               I gasped, and stumbled backward. The knot of fear in my stomache grew tighter by the second. From the doorway came an old man. With black and blue spots on his head and unseen white hair, he glared at us. Walking with a limp he shook a cane at us furiously. " Darn you kids!" and made a grab for us. Recovering from my shock I bumped into Nmara who was standing there white as a sheet. " Run!" I manged to cry out loud. Our feet pounded against the concerete of the side walk but the man was on our tail. " Come back you dirty rascals!" he yelled. But we didnt stop, we ran and ran till we bumped into our mothers. The madman stopped aa few yards away, yelling threats at us.  " What happened my mother questioned, you guys look like you seen a ghost!" It took a while for me and Namra to stop trembling and then we told what happened. My mom looked at my friends mom and they burst out laughing! " Kids these days!" they exclaimed. We stood there puzzled. What happened to us, what did we do to cause a madman to chase us a half a block on Halloween.

                That night we decided to keep our secret to ourselves and went home. We decided that we had enough trick or treating for this year. I layed in bed as I fell asleep,exhausted. What a Night!!
